Detach the drawer section of the slide from the cabinet section by pressing the release lever on the drawer slide rail.
Mark the interior of the cabinet where the slide will be attached. It is best to mount the slide near the bottom of the drawer box. Mark a straight line to the rear of the cabinet using a level. Repeat on the opposite side of the cabinet.
Position the cabinet section of the drawer slide into position. While holding the slide in place, screw the 5/8-inch screws through the drawer slide into the cabinet side using a power drill. Repeat this process on the opposite side of the cabinet.
Attach each drawer section of the ball bearing slide to the drawer box. Mount the slide on the side of the drawer box. Line the slide up with the front and bottom of the drawer box . Using a power drill, screw the drawer section to the drawer box with the 5/8-inch screws.
Slide the drawer into the cabinet. Make sure the cabinet section and the drawer section of the slide engage properly. Do not force the drawer into the cabinet, as this will damage the slide.
